Right from the beginning, we have conducted interviews with teachers and principals to design a solution that addresses real life classroom challenges. We put together our ClassSpaces team partially consisting of former teachers and school administrators with several years of experience in Education and want to impact the industry through another perspective. With a primary focus of enabling learning any where, our vision is to make the tool a simple, but effective one.

How long does it take to set up ClassSpaces?

ClassSpaces can be set up within minutes. Firstly, install the Chrome extension on your device(s). For iPads, download the ClassSpaces app. Next, on the login page connect your ClassLink or Clever account and ClassSpaces automatically syncs your data. Finally, if you're a school administrator setting up ClassSpaces for your organization, share the login credentials with students and teachers and voila! – ClassSpaces is ready to use.

Do I need technical knowledge to start using ClassSpaces?

ClassSpaces is designed with the user in mind – starting with easy onboarding, quick setup and intuitive navigation of the Dashboard, all of which a user can easily grasp with minimal or even ZERO help from IT.

Which device(s) is ClassSpaces compatible with?

ClassSpaces is fully cross-platform and compatible with Chromebooks, Macbooks, iPads, Windows, and Android devices.

What kind of learning materials can be shared with students?

ClassSpaces allows web links and/or any file types to be shared by teachers with students. Resources shared are sorted by class name and date for easy reference after a lesson and can be accessed at any time.

What is focus mode and how does it work?

Focus mode is a ClassSpaces feature that locks a selected view on students' devices when activated. Teachers can manage what students see and prevent them from clicking away. This way, distractions are minimized and students can focus on the task at hand.

What other features can I use to ensure student's focus in lessons?

With ClassSpaces, the teacher also has the ability to either manually close a tab or temporarily block access to a website for the duration of the lesson. After the lessons ends, these restrictions will be automatically lifted. Blocked websites will also not be carried over to the next class.

Does ClassSpaces have a chat function?

Yes, there is an integrated chat in the ClassSpaces application to facilitate collaboration. Teachers and students can either start a direct chat or a group chat with each other. If the group chat gets too distracting during a lesson, the teacher also has the ability to disable it easily.

Is ClassSpaces web-based?

Yes, ClassSpaces is web-based and brings about many benefits with it such as easier accessibility and maintenance.

How much is ClassSpaces?

ClassSpaces offers competitive pricing and adopts a pay-per-user model. We also offer differentiated pricing based on school size, number of devices, and other factors.
